Her Write to Rise Mentorship

Chicks Chat. Real talk with women who have walked the road.

Chicks Chat pairs a young woman between 18 and 28 with a published Six-Figure Chicks author for an honest one on one conversation about business, careers, money, love, personal growth and anything else on her mind.

What it is

Your story becomes someone else's starting point.

Every Six-Figure Chicks author has shared her story in print. Through Her Write to Rise, she takes that story one step further by sitting down with a young woman who is just getting started and answering the questions nobody else would.

Mentees bring the questions. Nothing is off limits. Every Chicks Chat is recorded and shared as a special episode of the Six-Figure Chicks Podcast, so one conversation can help many more young women who are listening.

Courage Shapes the Journey: Real Talk on Mentorship, Faith and Community

Destiné Black with mentor Francine Allen-Humphrey, hosted by Mel C.

Destiné saw Mel's Fox News interview and reached out. That one call became our very first Chicks Chat, with Francine stepping in as the first Six-Figure Chicks mentor. Together they talk about stepping outside your comfort zone, what women wish they knew when they started, what makes a good mentor, and why women so often downplay their own success.
